If hypothetically, a guy had a large collection of 480p video files. I'm just asking about the difference in image quality as it relates to the increased screen resolution of otherwise similar TVs. Please set aside differences in manufacturing quality for the sake of this question. I know there are 720p TVs, 1080p TVs, 4K TVs. I only watch video files, no broadcast TV. and on rare occasion when I want to watch something in HD, I watch it on my computer. I still have an old SD TV from 20 years ago that I'm used to. I've never owned an HDTV, so I know nothing about them.
